Will Brooks (July 2, 1977) is an Amerian artist, who specializes in painting and drawing. A native of Louisiana, Brooks is on track to becoming one of the most recognized and critically acclaimed Southern artists.

Will Brooks was born near the rolling woodlands of the Kisatchie National Forest in central Louisiana, and he has been creating art since childhood. Will earned his BFA in 2000 from Louisiana Tech University School of Art, one of the most successful art schools in the southern United States. His studies extensively focused on skills involving drawing, painting and printmaking.
After college, Will relocated to New Orleans to absorb the unique European influenced energy the city exudes. After the Hurricane Katrina disaster in 2005, he decided to relocate with his partner to Houston, TX. He believed the move would place him into artistic atmosphere ripe for creativity and exploration, and is quoted as saying, "The city radiates the very special energy of a thriving metropolis that embraces progress and diversity."

Will Brooks' work reflects his interest in the spiritual side of the human experience and is heavily influenced by the ideas of the Oneida, Taoist texts, and the “Art of Peace.” He also remains active in his community by contributing time and pieces of his art to local non-profit organizations for fund-raising purposes. In 2006 he organized a silent auction/art show benefiting Camp Hope (a summer camp for children with HIV/AIDS supported by AIDS Foundation Houston).
Will Brooks' uses various media to create his visual compositions including paper, inks, acrylics, watercolor, graphite, color pencils, resins, and varnishes. He strives for each piece to be a visual adventure - a unique journey with insights to discover along the way.
