Wilkin Castillo

Wilkin Castillo (born June 1, 1984 in Baní, Dominican Republic) is a Major League Baseball catcher who is currently with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Castillo was originally signed as an undrafted free agent in 2002 by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

In 2007, he played for the Double-A Mobile BayBears. In 109 games, he had a .302 batting average. His contract was purchased by the Diamondbacks on November 20, 2007.

Castillo is a switch hitting utiliy catcher. In the minor leagues, Castillo has played first base, second base, third base, shortstop, and the outfield.
