Wilhelm Henneberg was a German chemist and student of Justus von Liebig.

He atended school in Brunswick and studied at the University of Giessen with Justus von Liebig and at the University of Jena where he received his Ph.D in 1849.

He worked on agricultural chemistry especially during his research at the University of Göttingen from 1857 until his death in 1890.
