Wilfried F. Rimensberger

Wilfried F. Rimensberger (born 1953 in Weinfelden, Switzerland) is a notable London based Swiss journalist, author, magazine editor and entrepreneurial international communications specialist.

His articles on a wide range of issues and interviews with international music and film stars as well as powerbrokers in our society and essays on Media and communication issues appeared in print publications, and were aired on TV and radio around the globe in various languages. He also has production credits on a variety of international music albums, TV and stage productions. As an entrepreneur and producer he has instigated or pioniered various international media, communication concepts and entertainment projects such as Metalhammer magazine (Founding Publisher), ClubCall and the Phenomena rock music multi-media project amongst others.

In the mid-Eighties, as a consultant to the director of Network development, he developed specific marketing concepts for music television MTV and negotiated its access to key European markets. With the introduction of ClubCall in to Europe he is credited as audiotext (Value Added Telephon Services) pionier by telecoms publications. In this respect he has also worked with major stars in the world of sport and entertainment such as Boris Becker, Michael Jackson, Take That and premier league football clubs such as FC Bayern Munich, Manchester United and FC Internationale Milano. Other partners in his projects were organisations such as FIFA, Davis Cup and DFB (German Football Association).

Since 1985 he has worked in various capacities such as Manager, Producer and Promoter with Barry Manilow, Anna Maria Kaufmann, Nina Corti, Tim P. Davies, André Wilhelm and many more, and has staged festivals, tours, concerts and art exhibitions in various countries. With Tom Galley as the founder, he is co-producer on the Phenomena (band) recordings and overall project Executive producer. In 2001, he founded The (Children's Art Academy) - CAA in London. On the broadway bound Manilow (musical) HARMONY Wilfried Rimensberger is credited as Sourcing Producer.

Since 2000 Wilfried Rimensberger is also involved in communication projects in the financial service industry in Europe.
