Wilfred Jacobs

Sir Wilfred Ebenezer Jacobs (October 19, 1919–March 11, 1995) was the first Governor-General of Antigua and Barbuda. He held this position from November 1, 1981 to June 10, 1993. He was replaced by James Carlisle. He was also the governor of Antigua and Barbuda from 1967 until that country gained independence in 1981 and he became governor-general.
