[edit] Fictional character biography

Wildstreak's father was once a HYDRA agent, but he resigns when his wife gets pregnant. Unfortunately Wildstreak's mother dies shortly after she was born. She is raised only by her father. Tamika grows up to become an excellent gymnast, where she develops a crush on a boy named Carl Washington. Unfortunately Carl drops out of school and without Tamika knowing it, he became an arms dealer.

Tamika later focuses on her gymnastics and could win an Olympic medal for it, were it not for gang member Big John Buscelli. John tries to recruit Tamika for Hydra but she declines. Not accepting no for an answer, John causes an incident which robs her of the use of her legs. During her recovery Tamika decides to develop an exoskeleton which would once again enable her to walk. Succeeding in this, she decided to use her power for good and become the super-hero known as Wildstreak.

One of her first adventures included a team-up with the Fantastic Four, helping them against the villain known as Dreadface.

During one of her next super-hero adventures Wildstreak comes face to face with Big John again and saw that Carl was working for him. Devastated and still unsure about her feelings for Carl, she lets him escape. This event catches the attention of Thunderstrike and the vigilante Sangre. While Thunderstrike stops Big John, Sangre got out of control and shoots Carl.

[edit] Civil War

Not appearing since, Wildstreak recently was seen again as one of the many apprehended super-heroes opposed to the Superhuman Registration Act forged during the Civil War event. However, she is in the process of being transported to the Negative Zone, while deep inside the Baxter Building. One of the guards moves too close to the machinery. It shorts out, allowing Wildstreak to escape. She is pursued by guards and Mister Fantastic himself. She escapes by busting through a window, while being turned invisible by Susan Richards.[1]
