Wildflower is an album by American singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow, first released September 27, 2005 (see 2005 in music). The album has a more orchestral feel than her previous albums. Although the album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, it received mixed reviews and was not as commercially successful as hoped, having also peaked at merely #25 on the UK Album Chart, where all her previous albums had been Top 10 successes.
In December 2005, however, the album was nominated for a Best Pop Vocal Album Grammy Award, while Sheryl Crow was nominated for a Best Female Pop Vocal Performance Grammy Award for the song "Good Is Good." As of January 2008, Wildflower has sold 949,000 units in the U.S.[1] and has been certified platinum.
