Wildfire was a 60-minute television series that aired on ABC Family. The theme song was titled "Morning Light" and was sung by the band Truman. The show premiered June 20, 2005; its second season began January 2, 2006; the third season premiered on January 1, 2007; the fourth season premiered on January 21, 2008.[1]
The series ended after 4 seasons.[2]

[edit] Plot summary
The show centers on the world of horse racing and a young girl named Kris Furillo who, after serving time in a juvenile detention facility, works as a stablehand and later a jockey at Raintree Farm. While at Raintree, Kris finds romance and competition with Raintree's rivals, the prestigious Davis Farm, all while rising to stardom in the racing world.

- Kristine "Kris" Furillo (Genevieve Cortese)
- A young jockey 22 years of age who formerly served time in prison for grand theft auto. Kris shares a special bond with Wildfire, a horse she saved from going to slaughter and helped turn into a champion racehorse. She has had on-and-off relationships with Junior Davis and Matt Ritter. However during all of season 4 she has been showing feelings for Junior and towards the end of the series, she ends up marrying Junior Davis. She also gets Wildfire as a very special wedding present from Jean and Pablo.
- Danielle "Dani" Davis (Nicole Tubiola)
- Daughter of Ken Davis; younger half-sister to Junior. She is 22 years of age. Dani formerly owned her own racing stable, but then took over as majority shareholder of Davis Farm before losing her racing license. Originally she and Kris were not on good terms with each other but in Season 4 they became friends.
- Jean Ritter (Nana Visitor)
- Matt and Todd's mother; co-owner of Raintree Farm. A sort of mother figure to Kris.
- Pablo Betart (Greg Serano)
- An ex-convict, Pablo discovered Kris's talent for horses and riding and brought her to work for the Ritters. He is co-owner of Wildfire with Jean and Matt Ritter. He worked as the head trainer at Davis Farm, but later returned to his job as a trainer at Raintree. He is also in love with jean.
- Matthew "Matt" Ritter (Micah Alberti)
- Oldest son of Jean; He is 22 years of age. Todd's older brother. He is co-owner of Raintree Farm along with his mother, and has taken over as it's head trainer.
- Kenneth "Ken" Walter Davis, Sr. (James Read)
- Father of Dani and Junior. He made Davis Farm one of the most powerful in the country before losing control of it by being indicted on six counts of fraud. He, after being acquitted of all the charges, bought back 46% of Davis Farms and later experienced a heart attack. He enjoys scotch and going to the country club.
- Kenneth Walter Davis "Junior" (Ryan Sypek)
- Son and namesake of Ken; older half-brother to Dani. He is 22 years of age. He once owned a night club, but he made a bet on his club's ownership and lost. He also dabbled in the sport of professional bull riding. He has had an on-and-off relationship with Kris Furillo but towards the series end, they end up getting married.
- Todd Ritter (Andrew Hoeft)
- The quirky, wise-beyond-his-years son of Jean; Matt's younger brother. He is in high school and lived at Raintree Farm in Seasons 1-3 but in Season 4 moved to boarding school.

Gillian Parsons (Charlotte Salt) : A rich heiress; was silent partner and co-owner of Davis Farm until she sold her shares of the farm back to Ken Davis Sr. In past seasons she dated Matt Ritter and Junior Davis. At one time she owned Wildfire's only offspring, a colt named Flame who was born before Wildfire became sterile. She was not in any season besides numbers 2 and 3.
