[edit] Plot

The game's story centers around the knight group called the Chevalet Blanc and how the protagonist and her team of knights take back their homeland, The Elesius Kingdom, which is being controlled by the Council of Statesmen. The princess of the Elsius Kingdom died in an incident and as a result the king fell into illness, which brought about the rise of the Council of Statesmen. Like other Wild Arms titles, this takes place on the dying planet Filgaia where the remaining natural resources, food, land and financial assets, are at the center of continued armed confrontations. Despite this, the Elesius Kingdom is one of the few peaceful places on Filgaia.

[edit] Game System

The game is a 2D strategy RPG that uses hexagons instead of the traditional grid system. Before one of the game's strategy battles begins, the player can gather important pieces of information by glancing over Labirynthia's "Direct Event Report" (D.E.R.). This report will inform you about the current status, the forecasted future status, and conditions for victory. The game's strategy battles are not turn-based, instead a character's turn will be determined by a stat known as Reaction Points (RFX) and will differ from battle to battle. If the player succeeds in executing an uninterrupted series of commands, the damage inflicted upon enemies will increase significantly. On the other hand, if the enemy manages to land a series of consecutive moves, the damage taken by the player's party will increase. Combination Arts akin to those in previous Wild Arms games will come into play too.

The game will feature 6 Acts divided further into series and over 16 classes. Sex and class level will also play a role in battle.

[edit] Features

  • A hex-grid based battle system like that of Wild Arms 4 and Wild Arms 5, although the actual mechanics of the system are quite different.
  • U.S-Exclusive Music Room. Players will get to listen to 20 selected themes from the game anytime from the main menu.
  • An improved Synthesis Shop. New items can be made as the story progresses.
  • A Search System that allows you to deploy hired Drifters to search areas around the map for synthesis and usable items.
  • Unique classes and classes available only to main characters.
