Since open proxies are favourite tools for vandalism, they are usually blocked on detection. To prevent the creation of vandal accounts, registered users operating from open proxies are blocked as well. I've downloaded Tor (too lazy back then), but I find that Tor is blocked now. Using a proxy like the one I am using now, I can't edit pages. There is a suggestion to use HTTPS access, but the page doesn't display correctly (Firefox 1.5.0.1, Linux) (the left navbar is put way below).
