[edit] License tagging for Image:MysticIndia.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:MysticIndia.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:08, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:MysticIndia.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:MysticIndia.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kimchi.sg 12:33, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Akshardham Delhi
No, that is not the way wikipedia works. If you want an article written on this topic, then write it. You cannot commission articles.--Anthony.bradbury 18:47, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

When you get a chance, take a look at the recent development on the talk page for Yogiji Maharaj. Moksha88 03:27, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Swaminarayan
Wasn't referring to you in the 'Talk' page but to our good ol' friend Haribhagat since he feels compelled to instill his view of Swaminarayanism on world. Moksha88 21:36, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
It is my view but more importantly it is what the scriptures state unlike your views which are not backed up by scriptures.

[edit] In reply to request
Jai Swaminarayan,
I too am a devotee of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and only came into satsang about 5 years ago, but i take scriptural reference and maharajs words seriously. Also i have studied literature from all Swaminarayan groups and made critical analysis on each one using vachanamrut references. Yes i can accept that you have different views and it is up to you what group you wish to follow. My concern is that acharyas should be fully mentioned on Bhagwan Swaminarayan page, because remember despite of what views are of them they have been established by bhagwan swaminarayan. Yes lets keep the page NPOV but can we try to respect the Swaminarayan Sampraday and Acharyas and all else come after respectively. I say this because Swaminarayan Sampraday was set up by maharaj himself as were the acharyas. So i feel they deserve more of a mention, not saying that other groups should totally be kept out of the article. Also remember other Swaminarayan groups such as Swaminarayan gadi, Anoopam Mission, Vadhvaan etc will need to have a section. Haribhagat 21:15, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
-
- Very well put, sir! I respectfully agree and admit that (1) Acharyas must be mentioned first. Despite whatever philosophical differences one has, it cannot be disputed that they have the historical right to this mention; (2) Also agree that we can accomodate other Swaminarayan groups as well in separate sections. . . . Have just added a couple of lines (before i saw this entry by you) to your talk page requesting that we present the sects as a family within Swaminarayan philosophy rather than divisions within it. Sometimes we tend to get into philosophical arguments and realize only later that it gives fodder for those outside the family to use against all of us. Lets avoid that; other than this, i must admit its great to be conversing with a genuinely interested haribhagat who has studied the scriptures critically and accepts Maharaj's word. Lets keep up the dialog; we will have differences, but lets not allow those to overshadow our commonalities. wildT 16:25, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hey
Jai Swaminarayan. I happened to be looking around and I noticed you're a bit of a frequent editor on Wikipedia, and furthermore you do work on the B.A.P.S. articles... I'm currently just creating a network for satsangi editors, so I just wanted to say hi for now, see what's good. Are you keen to improve B.A.P.S. articles? -- Harish - 21:25, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- Jai Swaminarayan, bhai. Thanks for being in touch. Just to show you what I'm doing currently, I'm working on the Akshardham (Delhi) article in my sandbox (bare in mind that it's not finished). As you'll notice, I'm really keen to back up all sources of facts on the BAPS articles as to give them some sorta credibility as well as giving the articles structure, know what I mean? I'm just showing you by example how I feel the other article should end up looking... I'm currently in talks with Paramtattva Swami, at the London Mandir, on how the progress should continue, so I'm not laying any laws down. But do you see where I want to take the articles? If you have any thoughts at all about anything, including what I've done, feel free to let me know. Outta curiousity, where are ya from? -- Harish - 16:24, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- Jai Swaminarayan. Ahh, that's cool. Better to concentrate on your studies in that case. Had my final exam for now earlier today (woo!). Yeah, I'm from London. Where about in India are you based? Hope all your assignments go well, bhai. -- Harish - 19:43, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Jai Swaminarayan, Thank you so much for adding your name to the list. The more supporters the better. Sign my signature book located on a link on the top of my userpage. I keep track of all my satsang wiki contacts through that. Also tell me about yourself on my talk page. I'm also a member of BAPS. JSN Juthani1 23:44, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
