[edit] False information

Please do not post information you know to be false on Wikipedia, especially on the biographies of living persons. This is considered severe vandalism and can get you blocked. I've been watching this situation on shockernet and phog.net and all their buddies, and I can assure you that if you really believe this is true, you are the victim of a message-board hoax. If you can cite a reliable source which claims that Larry Brown is seriously considering the WSU job, you are welcome to repost the information. Wikipedia is not a platform for perpetuating Internet hoaxes, which is all this is. (ESkog)(Talk) 20:53, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: The Cedar

Yes, I deleted this article, as a non-notable corporation, which was only being posted to further this hoax. Please try to find a way to contribute productively to Wikipedia. (ESkog)(Talk) 20:53, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] An Automated Message from HagermanBot

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 02:28, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Reliable sources

Please read our rules about reliable sources for information. Give me something more than some random Internet user saying that these high-level coaches are considering this job. I could post to shockernet that John Wooden was being discussed for the job, but that doesn't mean it belongs here. (ESkog)(Talk) 02:34, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

That source printed today will work. I apologize; it seems that the Sutton rumor has grown legs after all. I still don't appreciate being attacked personally, but if we can keep all of these rumors off Wikipedia until a newspaper or other source reports on it, that's definitely acceptable in my book.
