Features: Located in the Broadmoor neighborhood, Southwest Middle School sets high expectations for middle school students who are held accountable for their work. Students participate in athletics, spirit groups, Peer Mediation, Peer Helpers, Red Ribbon activities, clubs and educational field trips. Parents and others in the community are actively involved in our school.

Student performance in academic subjects is monitored frequently to promote learning, and academic goals are established and communicated so that learning can take place. Southwest is a middle school where the positive qualities of the student are reinforced with opportunities for students to exert their leadership skills and apply what is learned in the classroom to real life.
