However when William Peverel fled the country in 1155, King Henry had confiscated these lands. I have placed these words temporarily within comment tags as there seems to be contradiction. It isn't clear which lands are meant. Peveriul lands surely not those of the Ferrrers since 1155 is before the King's son's revolt. Chevin 12:20, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
