[edit] Pwllheli?
Reference to "Pulhelly" Is this an anglicisation of "Pwllheli"? Anyone know? Pwllheli has a harbour & I am unaware of any settlement in Wales by the name of "Pulhelly". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.152.213.193 (talk) 12:41, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- Your theory seems very plausible. Sampson refers to it thus "...we were stranded on the coast of North Wales, on the extreme point of Carnarvonshire, near the small port of Pullhelly."[1] and it appears that Caernarfonshire includes Pwllheli. rewinn (talk) 05:41, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
