Adam, you left me a message on my page about your edits but you weren't signed in, so I can't easily respond.

I saw the edits to the page and reached for my copy of your biography of Lever; it mentions the traffic accident, which is how I remembered it, but unless I completely missed it there was nothing about diabetes or insulin. So I reverted the article without even looking at the other edits. I confess to being confused myself now, but I'm certainly not going to presume to correct you on any detail or aspect of Lever's life. Have at it. Ben-w 17:43, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
