[edit] Electric Lamp

The article mentions Thomas Edison when really there is no need to. Thomas Edison and his company developed a filament for lightbulbs, not an electric lamp. Those already existed, the principle was displayed sometime before 1810. (A pair of Canadian inventors also made a filament lightbulb, but slightly different.)

I've heard that Claude Etienne MiniƩ developed his bullet along an independent French line of research. No English input was available. --71.172.37.93 (talk) 04:39, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
