Is not the playwright pretty clearly the primary reference? john k 14:00, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- I agree. I think it will require admin work to get the playwright moved back to this article along with its history. moving the dab page should be no problem. (John User:Jwy talk) 14:31, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- I am an admin, so I can do it, but I'd like to see if there's any more feedback first. john k 14:35, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- Er...wow. Umm...I, the person who just suggested the change, was also the person who originally moved it to the unsatisfactory location! Madness. I had completely forgotten that I did this. I think the original move was because the William Congreve article originally contained discussion of both the playwright and the scientist. I took out the scientist material to its own article and moved the rest of the article so as to prevent ambiguity. I'm not sure why I did it that way, and obviously now (having forgotten the original action entirely) I think it should change. Given that I was the one who apparently originally created the original situation, I guess I can change it now, huh? john k 14:42, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- Works for me! I gather you know what needs to be done. . . I didn't match up john k suggesting the change and John Kenney in the history until now! (John User:Jwy talk) 14:50, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Breast or Beast
I think the controversy regarding the correct wording of his most famous line (is it "savage breast" or "savage beast") is merited. Mal7798 14:02, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
I've copied the above to Talk:William Congreve - it was (inappropriately) a redirect here. (John User:Jwy talk) 16:17, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
