[edit] Clean-up/Rewrite?

I just happened to chance upon this article and WOW! It could pretty much use a total rewrite. It's very confusing in the way it's arranged and worded, not to mention very little of it is biographical. The majority of the article is really just trivia. If no one else is willing to do the legwork, I'll do it but I really only have a passing interest in Mr. Beckett.63.3.71.134 20:37, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

This article has gone to hell and needs some clean-up. Also, please refrain from fan-boyism on the talk page. 67.142.130.44 21:14, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Someone find a smaller picture please.—This unsigned comment was added by Acebrock (talkcontribs) .

I removed the following part: "He also wrote the drum parts to all the songs (EDIT: Beckett did NOT write all of the drum parts on the release ALMOST HERE. Rather, Mike Delprincipe the previous drummer wrote and performed drums the album as well as the E.P.)." I think the edit is inappropriate, and its truth negates the need for the first sentence.

I changed some of the wording and such, I'm looking for a new picture at the moment so if any one has any suggestions? Keeper oflore 11:09, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Why is he listed in the possibly living category? There's no indication that he's presumed dead or missing.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.9.71.237 (talk • contribs) 18:22, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

True. And earlier, what's with the subjective doubles thing?--71.211.70.160 17:48, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

I also removed him from the vampire category because I believe that may refer to vampires of fictional lore, not celebrities who played such roles.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.9.71.237 (talk • contribs) 18:23, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

William Beckett needs his own article seperate from The Academy Is... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rose.rome (talkcontribs)

And I fully agree. Extremely sexy 12:17, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

from what I hear/read the Baha Men cover is not real if it is it needs a source, I don't know what you're supposed to do about that, I understand about adding stuff, so I'm typing this here in hopes that someone does (Musicobsessed6 (talk) 03:16, 4 June 2008 (UTC))

Hi. I'm not familiar with his work, though I monitor the article for vandalism. I have added a {{fact}} tag requesting a source and a {{dubious}} tag indicating that the assertion is doubted. If nobody comes up with a source, then you may want to go ahead and cut the line in a couple of days, as it does not meet our verifiability policy. :) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 11:42, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Redirect

I have redirected this article given this, this, and the libel concerns that prompted protection of the article. --Coredesat 06:52, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

  • Given that the AFD you cite specifically states that articles for the other band members should be nominated separately through AFD or PROD, I have reverted your redirection. -Hit bull, win steak(Moo!) 04:10, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Also, in the event that a consensus does end up deciding to go to a redirect after an AFD or a discussion here, I'd like to recommend a protected redirect, since the page seems to have been vandalized more (rather than less) since it was first redirected. -Hit bull, win steak(Moo!) 04:27, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
