  • In the article it says that Barnes proposed that " the word "photograph" (<Gk. light+writing) would become "sun-print" (<Saxon)." "Print" is ultimately of Latin origin and I'm assuming Barnes, being a philologist, would have known this. Does anyone know why he proposed this word, or is this possibly a mistake made by the author of this article?--Hraefen 22:00, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Was Barnes born in Rushay or Bagber, or Rushay Cottage in Bagber or on Bagber Common in Rushay? both places are mentioned at different sites on the Internet.
