Must be a record for shortest time between OBE and CBE I'd have thought. Unfortunatley there seem to be several W H Anderson's kicking around in teh First World War era, so I've haven't managed to find much int he gazettes. DFC should be there, posibly promotion to major, bt I've not maanged to track those down. David Underdown (talk) 15:36, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
