This is a copyrighted image that has been released by a company or organization to promote their work or product in the media, such as advertising material or a promotional photo in a press kit. The copyright for it is most likely owned by the company who created the promotional item or the artist who produced the item in question; you must provide evidence of such ownership. qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Any other usage of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, might be copyright infringement. [edit] Fair use rationale for Wilmer & the Dukes
- For an article about a band which is known for extensive touring, a rare image of one of the promotional flyers is extremely relevant
- No free or public domain images have been located which could provide the same information.
- No other images are known to exist of any other such promotional flyers, making this one extremely rare
- The image is of lower resolution than the original poster (copies made from it will be of inferior quality).
- The poster is to suggest something of the type of advertising being used by the band.
- The poster is being used for informational purposes only, and its use is not believed to detract from the artist's original works in any way.
- The poster is used on the web, and its use on Wikipedia does not make it significantly more accessible than it already is.
- The poster's use on Wikipedia is entirely encyclopedic in nature.
