I knew Esperanza was a net negative when they started sending around barnstar police, to lecture people on the proper use of barnstars on their pages ... barnstars being awards that people independently gave each other without the benefit of an overarching organisation to teach them their correct application.

Of course it's news... Esperanza had a lot of supporters. The "something going right" bit is surely that it's closed down? What I personally fail to understand, however, is why we still have the Birthday Committee?! (Esperanza Lite?) --kingboyk 21:39, 5 January 2007 (UTC) (who also missed the MFDs)
