Wikipedia:Requests for Deadminship speaks to my heart but my head says no. What ought to be either exceptional and rarely used or routine and no big deal would become a process that let so much blood we'd have to use a fire hose after each nomination.   • Right now, RFA focusses a lot on the positive contributions by the nominee. If we reverse the approach, not only will it be another one to add to the stressing negative processes, it will also require a certain urgency that cannot always be met. - Mgm|(talk) 12:44, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
