Check the data on wikipdia and confont it to a fansite about Silent Hill in spanish:

Wikipedia= The shop called simply "8" is a graphic parody of Seven-Eleven.

Fansite= 3.- La tienda llamada simplemente "8" es una parodia gráfica de los Seven-Eleven

Wikipedia= At the intersection of Matheson and Bachman there is a building titled "Poston Market," in reference to Boston Market.

Fansite= 16. En la intersección de las calles Matheson y Bachman hay un local de nombre Poston Market el cual recuerda a los restaurantes Boston Market.

Wikipedia= On Wilson street, among the local sale of hot dogs and salmon, is Flowers on Lexington.

Fansite= 17.- En la calle Wilson, entre el local de venta de Hot Dogs y la pescadería Salmon, se encuentra una sucursal de Flowers On Lexington.

Almost verbatim. I think someone is using a translator here and giving no credit nor mentioned a reference where the data was taken from. --Averak (talk) 04:13, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for spotting that. If we haven't provided citations for those statements at all, then they should be removed per WP:V policy. If you're sure the information came from that site, you can credit them with Template:Cite web (depending on the reliablity of the site; fan sites don't normally qualify.) [edit] Magazine resources

Edge magazine:

  • Silent Hill; Issue E70
  • Silent Hill 2; Issue E103
  • Silent Hill 3; Issue E124
  • Silent Hill 4: The Room; Issue E139

Of these, I have all but the first. I'll also scan through for other related articles. Marasmusine 09:52, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] List of Silent Hill locations

I just rewrote this article almost in its entirety since it was almost completely unreadable in its previous form. If someone could review it and re-edit it adding any missing information and / or correcting any inaccurate information, that would be great. SAColorfinger (talk) 18:29, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Silent Hill

I've just had a crack at stripping out the OR and Essay statements from this main article. If someone else can give it a once over maybe that Essay tag can be removed. Marasmusine 07:49, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Update

Current task is editing List of Silent Hill characters to try and conform to Wikipedia:Manual of Style (writing about fiction). Once this is done, perhaps we can address the individual character's articles. Marasmusine 09:08, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

I'll take a look. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 22:17, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Silent Hill influences and trivia

Can I confirm that interested parties have finished trimming Silent Hill influences and trivia before its deletion (per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Silent Hill influences and trivia (2nd nomination))? A show of hands on that articles talk page will be useful, thanks. MarašmusïneTalk 13:15, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
