[edit] Image sizes and load times
The purpose of the image section of this page is to both show how size affects detail, and to offer an estimate of how much screen space the various images take up at each resolution. Because it's not an often-seen page, the load time (20 seconds) does not need to be reduced at the cost of whatever aid it may offer. | I don't at all see what aid a blank image could offer, but I've left it as example 4. –MT 17:40, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- One portrait (width < height ) and one landscape (width > height ) are enough. I also don't see the point in 50-100-150-200-250-300 except from making this page an exercise in poor usability, why not 50-100-200-400 and a word that 400 might be too much for mobile devices, or take a minute to render on slow hardware? -- Omniplex 18:53, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
