[edit] Borrowing the project page layout template
I was trying to think of the best ways to improve articles related to the University of Cambridge, and so I was reviewing what other people have done. I stumbled across this WikiProject, and well, to be honest, I was quite amazed by the neat layout of the project page that you have there. I was thus wondering whether I could borrow the code and adapt it to the needs of the prospective WikiProject on Cambridge University. Cheers! --Gimlei (talk to me) 18:21, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, nevermind, I just saw the link to the Turnkey WikiProject :) Thanks anyways, you made a terrific job of using that template! --Gimlei (talk to me) 18:24, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Soonerstats.com site structure change
Soonerstats.com has changed its site structure, so most of the ELs made to its site are broken. In a nutshell, all links with /fb in their URL must be changed to /football.
I've fixed them in Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, 1985 Oklahoma Sooners football team, and Template: 1985 Oklahoma Sooners football roster so far, but there's more work to be done. Hopefully I can get them all fixed myself, but I thought everyone should know. Boomer Sooner – KrakatoaKatie 01:15, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I noticed this too. Looks like you got most of them. I used AWB and got a couple more pages but there doesn't appear to be much left. Mostly talk pages. Thanks for letting us know.↔NMajdan•talk 19:17, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Gary England article
Hi, I happen to see your write-up and want to clarify something...as a possible edit is needed. You wrote that Gary "He is also credited with issuing the first televised Doppler radar warning, in March 1982". I have to respectfully disagree, as Gil Whitney at WHIO in Dayton, OH did this in April of 1974. WHIO had their own radar then(even though it was a cheap imitation in comparison to today's standards) and Gil had the hook echo on the air. There is a clip of this to prove so.http://youtube.com/watch?v=kGCi95ZrcHU. If it's ok with you,I'm going to update this. Nothing personal against Gary, but clearly alot of people outside of Ohio didn't realize this. It's all good
- You could just say he is credited for it but that claim is disputed by some and then expand on why.↔NMajdan•talk 20:42, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] SoonerSports.com site structure change
As if the change to Soonerstats.com wasn't enough, the Athletic Department spent their summer vacation revamping SoonerSports.com. Finally, we're rid of the gazillion letters and numbers with every URL, but the tradeoff is that our ELs to specific pages are now broken – all the ELs to stadiums, schooners, and just about everything else with a citation are phutzed up.
It's a crimson-and-cream alert to repair the 90 or so ELs to specific pages on that site. I've started with the facilities and traditions, but the real work is going to be the ones to former players and old football/baseball/volleyball season pages.
Here's the list. Go get 'em. - KrakatoaKatie 23:53, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
