[edit] Featured-article drive

Instead of going for the main University of Cambridge page as our first featured-article drive, I'd suggest starting with one of the "smaller" pages. Perhaps one of the more modern colleges would allow us to get ourselves in practice, without the need to summarise centuries of history. Bluap 22:36, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

A reasonable idea - my thinking behind the main University article was that it's got a lot of information already, and the history article can quite happily live as a separate article that doesn't need to be complete (yet). I'm from Peterhouse but that doesn't really qualify as a 'newer' college! Does anyone have a fairly full set of information/references on any of the more modern colleges? [edit] History

For your information, I'm working on a page with the history of the university. Real life means that it'll be a few months before it's ready Bluap 22:37, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Looks like a good start, perhaps we could distribute work on sections around volunteers in order to speed up the article creation? Mrh30 06:20, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
