[edit] Instructions

Add new items underneath the line "<language>en</language>", using:

{{subst:Rss2.0_enc
|title=
|href=
|text=
|file=
|bytes=
|type=audio/ogg
|timestamp=
|author=
}}

[edit] Notes

  • It is very important to correctly format the date (timestamp) so that newsreaders can understand it. The proper format is Sat, 28 Jan 2006 05:49:59 +0000
  • Remove the commas from the file size (change 1,789,976 to 1789976)
  • For multi-part articles, change the timestamp and web address for each part. Otherwise, some newsreaders only display one of the parts. To get multiple web addresses for the same article, try using different capitalizations of the title or existing redirect pages. Example

[edit] Archives

The archive is not currently formatted as an RSS feed, but a header and footer could easily be added if someone wants to view the archives with an RSS reader. -SCEhardT

Oops, just noticed this. This was intended to be a general part of the page (content rather than comment), but, um, it was me! -SCEhardT 08:06, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Out of date

Is this RSS being updated in a controlled-release fashion or is it just really out of date? Either way, I'd be glad to help out; I just don't want to jump in and mess up the master plan :-) -SCEhardT 22:12, 17 January 2006 (UTC)

No, I've been slowly updating it when I get a spare moment. Help would be welcome! I think I've completed adding everything from Category:Spoken articles up to the end of August... Joe D (t) 04:27, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
Cool. It is now up to date, and I'll try to keep it that way. -SCEhardT 03:44, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
