I would think that a merger with Wikipedia:WikiProject United States regions would probably be more appropriate. John Carter 16:52, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

Actually, the merger was proposed the other way because there is significant overlap, not because it should be a subproject of another nonSouthern project. Chris 21:17, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

As there has been zero activity of any sort for a year (and the last action was removing the MFD tag after the project survived MFD), I have tagged this project as inactive. The four articles which had this project's template have been edited to remove it, and am going to tag the suggested merge target as inactive as well, since it is almost as dead. Both pages might be appropriate MFD subjects as well, since they contain nothing of any encyclopedic value. Horologium (talk) 11:16, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
