[edit] Proposed merger
I think that it would possibly be useful to both this project and the fictional series project if it were to become either a formally named task force of that project or at least use the same banner. This subject is probably one of, if not the, most fully developed characters in all of fiction, with numerous appearances in almost literally any medium I can think of, and the article structure developed on this subject would be useful in any number of other similar subjects. Also, there have been several works in which Holmes and other fictional characters have appeared, many of whom would more directly fall within the scope of the other project, and some sort of closer relationship between the two groups might be extremely useful. I would support either renaming the group as a formal task force/work group, or at least possibly use the same banner, to reduce banner clutter and increase the level of cooperation between the two. [edit] Some help
If there are still active members of this project, would anyone be willing to take a look at C. Auguste Dupin, an earlier fictional detective by Edgar Allan Poe? I'm considering nominating this for Good Article but am curious what others think it will need to improve. Many thanks. --Midnightdreary (talk) 14:15, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
