Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Notability/Articles for Notability Review

[edit] Um what?

What is this page for, who made it, why and where was the discussion for it? Futhermore, what is the consequence of a discussion on these pages and how is this necessary given that we can do this at AfD? JoshuaZ 22:08, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Seconded. I don't think AfNR is necessary. Per WP:BOLD, which is itself cited on the AfNR page, someone coming across a {{notability}}-tagged article should do the investigation him/herself to determine whether the topic is notable, if it is expand the article, if it's not merge, prod, or AfD it. Looks like AfNR is an unnecessary extra layer of discussion when we've already got AfD and individual articles' talk pages. Pan Dan 20:44, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
