this is it now we can play as long as we need :)
I really like the dirty dishes/kitchen analogy, Renata. Wikipedia is like dining in a nice restaurant in this regard - you're happily reading away, but open the kitchen door (the talk page), whoops! It's chaos and they're all shouting at each other. Novickas 13:47, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

One thing: don't make the infobox article-specific. So there are two cases that should happen:
- We decide not to merge Vilnius with Vilnius city municipality - we should use {{infobox Lithuanian city}}. We could modify the infobox to accomodate a picture or other features.
- We decide to merge all city municipality articles with city articles - then we need a new infobox that would work for the 9 (I believe) cities that are also municipalities.
Go with whatever, but I am kinda for the second option. Thoughts? Renata 18:42, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
- Just wondering why we should not have different design for capital city infobox? M.K. 18:49, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
- Um, consistency? Because then why not have a different box for Klaipeda - it's the only port after all. And how can we use the generic box for Palanga, such a popular resort? And Visaginas demands its own autonomy... In short, less exceptions is better. Renata 20:36, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
- I see, but your forgot Kaunas!!!!!!!! But I noticed that different infobox for capital cities are present in various state articles. In other hand we can make new type of infobox for cities. M.K. 21:30, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wilno isn't a historical name
Wilno is a name used by a considerable minority of the citizens. If Lithuanian law doesn't respect such reality, it's a fault of the law. In many countries of the Union minorities have rights to use their languages, eg. in Poland. See also Sejny article, where Lithuanian name is after the Polish one. The Puńsk community is bilingual. [edit] Divine Mercy
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Vilnius involved in the saga of St. Faustina and the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy? I didn't see it mentioned in the article on Vilnius.--Orestek 06:04, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
