[edit] We need to stop reccommending foreign language FAs for the English Wikipedia
Articles which are featured on foreign language versions of Wikipedia are listed as possible help to users of the English language Wikipedia. Unfortunately, foreign language Wikipedias have lower standards for FA inclusion, and often don't cite their sources. That means that, when someone translates material from a foreign language Wiki, it ultimately saddles the article with highly specific material with no listed sources and no available sources in English. - You probably mean that some foreign language Wikipedias have lower standards for FA inclusion. For example many Featured Articles in English were translated for their inclusion to the Spanish Wikipedia and failed their FA nomination because of they did not comply with the standards given in es:WP:QEUAD. [edit] Stop being random - How we do it in the Hebrew Wikipedia
This project page says: "Look around (through categories, by hitting the random page button, etc) until you find a page that is not linked to the English Wikipedia."
We can stop this!
This doesn't have to be random! In the Hebrew Wikipedia we have tools to improve the process of searching for pages that should be linked to other languages.
