If I had to guess, it would be to rescue things from WP:AfD, or, recreating deleted articles... --SXT40 09:36, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
It appears to save articles from Afd - a noble aim, but I think a tragically doomed one. I prod a lot of articles which I consider so bad as to be not worth keeping - perhaps the creator would like me to list them here so they can expand them to an appropriate standard? Tragically doomed? I've seen articles improve because they were AfD'd. This project could help bring together people who are interested in improving bad articles. Totnesmartin 19:39, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
Oh, I know, I regularly put stuff up for deletion myself in the hope that they will be improved rather than deleted. My point though, is that people without specialist knowledge are usually reluctant to work on articles they aren't interested in. Maintenence projects are almost all like that. May I suggest that this WikiProject's category be renamed from Category:Deletion Deleters to Category:WikiProject Deletion Deleters members or Category:WikiProject Deletion Deleters participants per the convention of Category:Wikipedians by WikiProject (which should serve as the parent category for the new category). User categories should include "Wikipedian" or "User" in their name to distinguish them from categories for articles. -- Black Falcon (Talk) 04:34, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Hey! I added the article sonen but it was tagged for deletion as soon as I published it. Which sugestions would u give so as it doesn't get deleted. The idea is to talk about and important concept of thought created by the Japanese philosopher Meishu-Sama with little notority but of surprisingly amazing philosophy and with a great number of followers throughout the world.
