[edit] WikiProject Debating
WikiProject Debating aims to standardize coverage of debate related articles from all around the world. Niaz(Talk • Contribs) 12:33, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Choosing some good example articles
Might it be an idea to choose some good articles, to be used as a rough template? For example, we could have an ideal debating society article etc. Mpidge (talk) 22:50, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- Not sure there is such an article at the moment. Could be worth working on one of the articles that is already quite substantial (Oxford Union is probably a good candidate) to get it up to a GA standard. Billsmith453 (talk) 14:50, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Scales
We need an assessment criteria for assessing articles and an importance rating to go on the templates that go in article discussion pages. I'd be happy to write up criteria (I've been rating articles based on common sense thus far) but I wouldn't be so confident in making the importance rating show up. [edit] Template tagging and assessing
Just spent two and a half hours rooting through attaching templates and assessing the articles, real tired after all of that. Will look for other categories tomorrow. ScarianTalk 19:40, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- Looking at the chart which categorises all the article classes, I graded at least 100 articles yesterday and the chart hasn't updated itself. When I click on the classes themselves, for example, the chart says it has 2 start class articles, but when I look on the category it says there are 46 start class articles... Doesn't make sense. Thoughts? ScarianTalk 14:49, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Public Forum Article tagged for AfD
Just thought everyone in this project might want to be aware of this. --YbborTalk 21:28, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Collaboration
We are planning to start a collaboration among interested editors to work on debate related articles. You can place your opinion regarding this issue. Cheers! -- Niaz(Talk • Contribs) 11:03, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Categories
I'm thinking of breaking the category 'student debating societies' down into subcategories based on country, (ie. UK student debating societies, US student debating societies), does anyone have an objection? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Billsmith453 (talk • contribs) 13:20, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
