[edit] September 2006

  • We need a template which can be subst'd into place every month
  • It would be good to subst next month's issue into place when the current issue is delivered, so that editors can add to it during the coming weeks
  • September's issue ought to be prepared

WikiProject The Beatles has a good newsletter system going (probably about the only thing we are doing right! ;)), see WP:TBN. --kingboyk 09:53, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Good idea... Meanwhile, here's the link to this month's blank page. I'll do the template tonight, etc. -- syntax is /fullmonth YYYY Newsletter -- Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography/Outreach/September 2006 Newsletter -- I've been trying to catch up after taking a wikibreak so haven't gotten to Sept's --plange 15:54, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

I can't be sure, but maybe adding a section to the newsletter touting the projects recent successes might be in order. 10 biographies were promoted to FA status in October; I honestly can't figure out how to find out how many made good article. I think maybe adding "progress reports" like these might help a little. Maybe. I dunno. Badbilltucker 22:58, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
