[edit] Red Leaves
It would be nice to have an article on 紅葉少棒隊, they were awesome. BlueShirts 08:20, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

- Yeah, I putted it here--Jerrypp772000 23:03, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
I have recently created a "to do list" for this project, I putted 紅葉少棒隊 under requested translation.--Jerrypp772000 23:19, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

- Does anybody know the exact name of the team?--Jerrypp772000 22:37, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Professional Teams
The history of a team should not be divided, and we should merge La New Bears and First Financial Holding Agan, since they are essentially the same team that is owned by different boss. The same should be applied to Jungo Bears and Sinon Bulls. Kc0616 09:35, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
-
- I would agree on that.--Jerrypp772000 20:04, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

- Perhaps make this a subproject of Wikipedia:WikiProject Taiwan. Chris 09:06, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

- I created this WikiProject using the format of WP:AUSBALL, which is a separated WikiProject from Wikipedia:WikiProject Australia. I wonder if we can keep this WikiProject separated from WP:Taiwan?--Jerrypp772000 00:24, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not a member of this project, but I'm a member of the main Baseball WikiProject. I've initiated the use of task forces around the project to try to keep all the baseball projects centralised. I wonder if this project would want to continue working under the Baseball WikiProject and become a task force? Like Japanese baseball task force. Something like Wikipedia:WikiProject Baseball/Taiwanese baseball task force.? It's not hard for to edit the template to allow you to mark specific articles under Taiwan. For instance, simply putting japan=yes into our template puts it under the Japanese baseball task force. Just some food for though :) --Borgardetalk 08:58, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
- Hmmm that sounds pretty good. I think we'll have to ask other members too, don't we?--Jerrypp772000 20:11, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] WP:Baseball
I've added the line taiwan=yes into the baseball waikiproject banner. I put the flag of the republic of china. If this is unnecessery (i'm not all too familiar with the disputes over there), you may change it to something else.--Borgardetalk 05:48, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. It is alright to put the flag of the ROC. In the all-star game for the Minor leagues or whatever (I don't know the exact name), the Taiwanese players all had the flag of the ROC on their uniforms, so using that flag would be fine for me.--Jerrypp772000 22:35, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Chin-hui Tsao and Chin-Feng Chen
There is some discussion about if they are Ami or Siraya. Can anyone fix that? --AW 15:12, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
- The Chinese Wikipedia says that Chen is Siraya, and according to this, Tsao is Ami.--Jerrypp772000 19:50, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Taiwan baseball project
Hey guys I dunno if anyone knows this but there's this similar website. 台灣棒球維基館 Blueshirts 21:00, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
- There's an article about it too: Wikibaseball.--Jerrypp772000 00:23, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Assessment
Just though I should let the contributors of this project know that the {{Baseball-WikiProject}} template now incorporates task force assessment. So now, in baseball in general the CPBL may be considered Mid to High importance, whereas in Taiwan it is of Top importance. You would assess it as follows {{Baseball-WikiProject|class=Start|importance=Mid|taiwan=yes|taiwan-importance=Top}}. I'm going to update the instructions of the assessment shortly so everybody is clear on it.--Borgardetalk 11:47, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Naming conventions
I started a draft for the conventions here. I am not finished yet, so please post some ideas on that talk page.--Jerrypp772000 22:13, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Project for you
If anyone on this Project is looking for a project, please add the annual final standings and play-off results to each "year in baseball" page. There is a page for each year that is supposed to be for baseball throughout the world, but it so far mainly focuses on US baseball. It would be much appreciated if someone could add Taiwanese baseball info to the pages. Regards.--Old Hoss 04:09, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
