  • 22 August - The Press editorial cartoon by Mike Moreu.
    • An office cleaner is seen editing a Wikipedia page about Air New Zealand. It is a reference to Air New Zealand computers being used to make the Air New Zealand Flight 901 article look more favourable for the airline. [1]
