[edit] Gluggarnir

So, after clicking through all the links on List of islands of Denmark, I finally got to the Faroe Islands, and after clicking through all the links on List of islands of the Faroe Islands... Well, I was still none the wiser, but then I decided to look closer at the map on the main Faroe Islands page, and there on the southernmost island Suðuroy was Gluggarnir at a height of 610 m. - Lee (talk) 15:55, 8 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Gluggarnir

The mountain is Gluggarnir on the island of Suduroy, Faroe Islands (formally part of the kingdom of Denmark).

Read at Denmark that the highest elevation was well below 600m. However, this did not include the Geography of Greenland and Faroe Islands. As it seemed to me that mountain elevations are hard to track in the former, I visited the latter, then Various_maps_of_the_Faroe_Islands ->

, where I found Gluggarnir.

Gluggarnir is indeed the right answer, and what a pretty answer it is. Well Done to ScudLee. Dmn 16:41, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
