While obviously not a major change to RFA, various tweaks have been proposed that may have far-reaching effects. Some may be worthy of consideration. Such proposals have included:
- Changing the percentage thresholds
- Changing the minimum voting requirements, e.g. limiting the voting to existing admins
- Adopting formal minimum edit count criteria to refocus RFA discussion away from this particular area
