- To coordinate and improve articles related to Western Australia;
- To foster collaboration between editors in the Category:Wikipedians in Western Australia;
- To establish appropriate linkages with the Wikipedia Australia project and portal;
- To ascertain and identify the Western Australian component of other Wikipedia projects;
- To seek peer review and collaboration of editors in other Wikipedia projects. (proposed goal)

- History: Batavia (ship), Swan River Colony
- Flora: Anigozanthos manglesii (Mangles Kangaroo Paw), floral emblem; Eucalyptus marginata (Jarrah)
- Fauna: Numbat, faunal emblem; Black Swan, ornithological emblem; Gogonasus, fossil emblem; Ozraptor, the only named Western Australian dinosaur; Sandgroper.
- Anthropology; Aboriginal cultures of Western Australia.
