- Note: the following is in two of the biennial reports:
- In 1907, State Road No. 13, or the Cascade Wagon Road, was established, and certain changes made in the old location of the Cascade Wagon Road east of Twisp. In 1915, State Road No. 13 was abandoned as a state road. The section between Twisp and Marblemount and the spur from the mouth of Bridge Creek in Chelan County to Lake Chelan has not been abandoned as a state road. The length of the main route is approximately 42 miles and that of the spur from mouth of Bridge Creek to Lake Chelan, 14 miles. The amount spent on this road to the present time has been practically wasted as no attention was paid to permanent grades and alignment.
