Wikipedia:WikiProject Warhammer 40,000/Characters
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This page outlines the standard layout for an article on a Warhammer 40,000 fictional character. This is only a guideline to be used for fictional characters with both fictional history and player affect (rules and model, major appearance in a work or fiction or game, etc). Care should be taken to first check Wikipedia:WikiProject Warhammer 40,000/Notability to see if the character meets the criteria for an article.
This is only a crude layout, and at the moment, not all special character articles will conform to it. Feel free to play around. -- Saberwyn 11:13, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Introduction
[edit] History
History/biography of the character, focusing on the events detailed in the Codexes, fiction, and games. Multiple sections may be required; if so, divide by significant events in the character's life.
[edit] Wargame rules/In Game Terms
This section really needs a better heading
Here, detail anything about the character from the player's point of view. For example, is the character available in the game? For what army? Any notes of interest concerning the model? How many times have rules been released, and at what point in the character's history do they portray the character? Is the character currently valid?
- how about just RULES as a alternative headingPterodactal 06:52, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
