The peer review department of the Virginia WikiProject conducts peer review of articles on request. The primary objective is to encourage better articles by having contributors who may not have worked on articles to examine them and provide ideas for further improvement.
The peer review process is highly flexible and can deal with articles of any quality; however, requesting reviews on very short articles may not be productive, as there is little for readers to comment on.
All reviews are conducted by fellow editors—usually members of the Virginia WikiProject. While there is a general intent to expand this process to allow for review by subject experts, the preparations for this are not yet complete. Please consider reviewing someone else's article too, if you request yours :-)

Virginia achieved Good Article status last year, but didn't receive a thorough line by line review. A first request for Peer Review also went without any human review. This article is quite close to FA, but where else does it need work? Where are more references needed? Which topic are too lengthy and which too short? How does it read? I think the article on a whole can be shortened, but which paragraphs can be broken off without damaging the readability? Even if someone could review a single section or subsection that would be an exemplar for the rest of the article. Thanks for your help, Patrick Ѻ 17:08, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- A script has been used to generate a semi-automated review of the article for issues relating to grammar and house style. If you would find such a review helpful, please click here. Thanks, APR t 15:24, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Grundy, Virginia
I would like to get this page too on the path to featured status. Any help is appreciated. Chrisfortier 18:20, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] University of Appalachia College of Pharmacy
Like the Appalachian School of Law article, I would like feedback on how to improve the article to send it to on the path to featured status. I know pictures are needed and when someone can get them, they will be added to the article. Also, considering how this institution has been open for one and a half years, there are no graduates, hence, no notable alumni. Thank you for your help! Chrisfortier 16:01, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Appalachian School of Law
I would love some advice on how to improve this article and take this on the path to a featured status. I would like to get feedback on the whole article, but on the following sections in particular:
History
Academic Program
Student Life
Should I add any other sections? One section you might notice missing would be notable alumni. As this school will graduate its eighth class this May, I feel that it is too soon to start that section. Plus, I don't know of any prominent alumni. Chrisfortier 01:19, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Constitution of Virginia
I've done my best to implement the suggestions previously made at Talk:Constitution of Virginia/Comments. It's not a high traffic article, so I would appreciate any feedback on what else can be done to improve the article. I think it's better than a start class article now, but I'm not sure where else to take it.--Kubigula (talk) 05:00, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Virginia Resolves
I added dates and accounts of the actual proceedings that day in the house. I was just wanting a review, mainly on grammar skills and some advice on more things I could add.

It's an enjoyable article to read - I really like the use of the quotations from the proceedints. The biggest problem with the article is that it does not cite any of its references; that should definitely be the priority for improving the article. In terms of content, I think there should be a bit more about what was in the resolutions that did pass - there is more said about the ones that didn't pass (though admittedly the ones that didn't pass may have been more important).--Kubigula (talk) 05:21, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The Joint Expedition Against Franklin
I would like some feedback on the quality of this article. Chris Kreider 19:54, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- Chris, I made some minor tweaks to be consistent with the American Civil War Task Force guidelines. Scott Mingus 23:09, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Franklin, Virginia
I would like some feedback on what I can do to enhance this article. Any reccomendation would be great. I have put a good amount of work into this article. Chris Kreider 19:55, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Good work, nice photos! I would transfer the section about the Hurricane Floyd damage from Blackwater River to the History, even putting it as its own subsection, as I would assume it is a major event in the city's history. Is Franklin considered part of the Hampton Roads metro area? If so, place the navigation box below and mention it in the summary. The schools are worth discussing as Franklin has an independent school system. Setting the Franklin City Schools apart and explaining their role would work. I don't think Franklin shares schools with Southampton County. Explaining Paul Camp Community College's role in the city would make for a good addition (Do they have a campus in Franklin, for example). Also, is there anything unique culturally to Franklin?chrisfortier 22:07, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
