- Project News
- We are up to 3163 articles, which means we offically have more articles than the entire Amharic Wikipedia. Look out Limburgish Wikipedia, we are coming for you next!
- Please continue to help the project grow by adding the {{WikiProject Virginia}} to the talk page of any Virginia related article that you want to be within the scope of this project.
- We also have a new page - Wikipedia:WikiProject Virginia/Article Improvement - designed to help coordinate efforts to improve Virginia articles. You can use this page to tell us about articles that need work or let us know about articles you are preparing for a WP:GA or WP:FA nomination. Consider adding this page to your watch list and helping out.
- Special thanks to VirginiaProp and User:Neutralhomer for creating and tagging lots of new Virginia articles, to T Rex for developing our article improvement page, and to everyone who has helped improve Wikipedia's Virginia articles.

If you've just joined, add your name to the Members section of Wikipedia:WikiProject Virginia. You'll get a mention in the next issue of the Newsletter and get it delivered as desired. Also, please include your own promotions and awards in future issues. Don't be shy!
Lastly, this is your newsletter and you can be involved in the creation of the next issue (Issue 3 – November 2007, or whenever we get around to doing another one). We could use more editors and any and all contributions are welcome. Simply let yourself be known to any of the undersigned, or just start editing!
