[edit] Han Tu requests
The following are Vietnamese place names which are in need of Hán tự (Sino-Vietnamese characters). If you know or can find these, please add them in traditional Chinese characters.
- Chinese-speaking Wikipedians can find a copy of Le Quy Don's Phu Bien Tap Luc, which lists many place names. The Nguyen Dynasty's official chronicles are also good sources. Since they're written in classical Chinese, they're out of reach of most Vietnamese speakers. DHN 19:28, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Maybe the Nom Foundation could help? Also, is it possible that some of the PRC's "official" names for Vietnamese places may have changed from the original characters used by the Nguyen Dynasty? Badagnani 19:30, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
