[edit] B-class articles and better requests

These are the top priority requests and they will be filled prior to lower quality articles requests.

[edit] Arizona State Route 51

The article already has a map in the infobox, but I would like to request an additional map to be used in the history section. Something similar to the map here would be great. I am going to use it to help the reader visualize where specific cross streets are when I mention them in the history section. The map should be taller then it is wide since it is a north-south highway and it will be placed along the right side of the text. Thanks! --Holderca1 talk 21:14, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Legacy Parkway (future Utah State Route 67)

The Legacy Parkway, a freeway under construction, could use a map. This will be a future state route, the route number has to be approved by the State Legislature first. Not sure how mapping under construction routes goes, if the path is dashed or not, but in any event I'd like it without shields. If you need a source for the routing of the Parkway it is here (download the Wasatch Front inset pdf). Thanks - CountyLemonade (talk) 02:43, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Even More Arizona maps

I need maps for the following "B-class" Arizona highway articles:

I'd prefer to have it with shields of other major routes. Thanks! --Holderca1 talk 19:47, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] U.S. Route 89 in Utah

B-class article that could use a map; a shieldless map would be preferred. Regards, CL — 17:22, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the map and the speed. Cheers - CL — 18:51, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] New york reference routes

Couple of reference route articles in NY need maps. They are:

If these could be completed, it would help.Mitch32contribs 18:47, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] New York State Route 28 FAC comment

NY 28's FAC has a request to add the shield to the map, so if I could get that done soon, it'd be great. Thanks, Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 21:12, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] New York State Routes

Additional requests:

If the route shield could be added to the highlighted roadways that would be great. Thanks,Ngs61 (talk) 15:58, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Start and stub class requests

These requests will only be completed once the above requests have been completed or if an editor takes a special interest in your request. In order to expedite your request, improve the article to B-class assessement quality.

[edit] Tennessee State Route 43

A few improvements have been made to SR 43. It is a hidden designation for US 45E through West Tennessee for the most part with signed sections around Martin, TN and South Fulton. Low priority though...Thanks again Pepper6181 (talk) 22:54, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Florida State Road 116

I just started the page for Florida State Road 116, and I need a map for the page. Thank you for your help.

[edit] Florida State Road 113

I just started the page for Florida State Road 113, and I need a map for the page. Thank you for your help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Morriswa (talkcontribs) 10:03, April 7, 2008

Please note the top of the page, which asks that articles be improved to B-class before you bring them here to request a map. I don't foresee it being a problem since there's not a particularly large backlog, and the cartographers are likely to get around to it when they get a chance regardless. Generally though, this page isn't for articles that you've "just started". -- Kéiryn talk 14:18, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
I echo Keiryn's thoughts as well. It isn't a big issue, but generally the article should be long and complete enough to support a map - which usually means that it should be B-Class. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 18:49, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Phoenix Area Maps

A clear map of the entire area freeway system could be used in the Phoenix freeways article.

And a diagram of The Stack.

Thanks, Rko202 (talk) 01:40, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Accepted I'll get to work on that, because of my busy schedule, it will be ready in 1-2 weeks. —JA10 TalkContribs 19:21, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
I can't make the Phoenix Freeways map though. —JA10 TalkContribs 19:47, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Replacements for maps of formerly proposed roads on Long Island

I've just had a collection of maps that were tagged for deletion, claiming they can be replaced, but I've had my doubts, which has lead to some edit wars I'd rather avoid. In case I'm wrong about this, I'd like to request some replacemnts for the following non-free maps:

These maps are useful for explaining how the selected roads were supposed to have been built. But as they stand now, they're not free. I'd like to see some that don't violate any copyright laws by April 27, 2008 if that's possible. If not, perahps somebody here can photocopy the images, or save them in some other way, and use them as references for replacements. --DanTD (talk) 22:20, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

    • Wow, it looks like nobody is interested. That's a bad sign. ----DanTD (talk) 14:54, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Well, just make sure you have copies of the files saved onto your hard drive. Then, if someone does respond (I lack the knowhow to make maps), you can e-mail them the file or somesuch so they can use it. -- Kéiryn talk 16:05, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Abilene, TX Area Maps

I need maps for several Abilene area highways. They are FM 3438, UR 3438, and FM 89. They are not high priority, but they would be nice. Thanks! Highwayboy (talk) 21:24, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Maps for Washington's old Primary State Highways

We need some maps for PSH 1, PSH 11, PSH 12, PSH 13, PSH 14, PSH 15, PSH 16, PSH 17, PSH 18, PSH 21, and PSH 22. These maps were made by PHenry, but I couldn't contact him. Please help. Image:Map-WA-PSH2.svg could be an example. ComputerGuy890100Talk to meWhat I've done to help Wikipedia 21:41, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
