[edit] Tasks

[edit] In progress

[edit] Episode articles

All episode-related articles were recently nominated for deletion because most of them do not comply with WP:EPISODE and WP:VERIFY. They were kept on the condition that these problems are corrigible. Articles that do not comply with these two guidelines have been graded as "start"-level articles as opposed to "B"-level ones. All episode articles should only include specific, citable cultural references and should not mention trivia or production goofs. The plot outlines for such episodes should be reasonably - not excessively - detailed. An example of a B-level episode article is "Ballin'." The following episode articles need to be brought up to or exceed the criteria for a B-level article:

  1. "The Trial of R. Kelly"
  2. "Guess Hoe's Coming to Dinner"
  3. "Granddad's Fight"
  4. "A Date With The Health Inspector"
  5. "The Story of Gangstalicious"
  6. "A Huey Freeman Christmas"
  7. "The Real"
  8. "Return of the King"
  9. "The Itis"
  10. "Let's Nab Oprah"
  11. "Riley Wuz Here"
  12. "Wingmen"
  13. "The Block Is Hot"
  14. "The Passion of Reverend Ruckus"
  15. "...Or Die Trying"
  16. "Tom, Sarah and Usher"
  17. "Thank You for Not Snitching"
  18. "Stinkmeaner Strikes Back"
  19. "The Story of Thugnificent"
  20. "Attack of the Killer Kung-Fu Wolf Bitch"
  21. "Shinin'"

[edit] Assessment

[edit] Instructions

Any member of this WikiProject can change the assessment grade of any project-related article. All assessments should be based on the guidelines listed below. A class can be specified by adding the "|class=" parameter to {{The Boondocks WikiProject}} (e.g. {{The Boondocks WikiProject|Class=B}}). All project-related articles should have an assessment grade. The grades are as follows:

Article progress grading scheme [  v  d  e  ]
Label Criteria Reader's experience Editor's experience
Featured article FA
{{FA-Class}}
Article has achieved "Featured article" status and meets all current criteria for featured articles. A superior, comprehensive, and highly professional source for encyclopedic information for any and all people interested in the subject. No major edits needed. Few minor edits possible.
A
{{A-Class}}
Article complies with all current criteria for a good article, but may or may not have gone through a formal review process for such articles. Article furthermore complies with the standards as described by "How to write a great article." Includes external references, preferably from reliable, third-party published sources (peer-reviewed where appropriate). Should be illustrated appropriately and have no copyright problems. Could be a featured article nominee with additional improvement, a former featured article, or an article which recently failed to gain featured article status by consensus, but still maintains all other criteria. A comprehensive and useful source with a near-complete treatment of the subject. An unfamiliar party would acquire virtually all critical information. Users highly familiar with the subject matter would recognize where minor edits are required. Other trivial issues would still need to be addressed. Peer-review would be appropriate at this stage.
Good article GA
{{GA-Class}}
Article has achieved "Good Article" status and meets all current criteria for a good article. The article may not comply with all the standards described by "How to write a great article" or does not have a probability of success if nominated for FA status. Good articles with a reasonable chance to succeed in FA consideration should be classified as A-Class articles. A useful and broad source of information for nearly all readers. It treats the subject with neutrality and contains no contradictory information, no esoteric wording, few or no grammatical errors, and helpful sources. Though adequate in general, it falls short of the quality of a true, professional encyclopedic entry. Editing necessary, but only users with a high-level of expertise on the subject could bring it up to A-Class status. Other users may recognize fault and be able to contribute to a limited extent.
B
{{B-Class}}
This is the grade most typically assigned to articles outside of a more formal review process. At the very least, the article is wikified and cited. It may be missing major elements or references, need editing for language or balance, have copyright problems, lack proper illustration, or not comply with certain Wikipedia standards such as Neutral Point Of View (NPOV) or No Original Research (NOR). Alternatively, B-class articles may be just shy of meeting all good article criteria. A useful source for many readers, the article generates a general understanding of the topic, but may or may not be entirely factually accurate, so the article fails as a potential reference. Considerable editing may be required. Some important information may be lacking, inadequately covered, or misrepresented factually. Article may have noticeable errors in policy and need cleanup.
Start
{{Start-Class}}
The article has some good content, but is weak in many areas. It may be missing more than one critical element needed for true understanding of the topic in question. It may violate major Wikipedia standards such as WP:VERIFY or, if it applies, WP:EPISODE. It may need to be properly referenced or otherwise wikified. A moderately useful resource for some readers, the article includes some important information, but the reader would need to investigate other sources for a true understanding of the subject in question. Substantial editing is needed. Content must be added to make the article Wikipedia-appropriate, compliant to most Wikipedia standards, and useful to a larger audience.
Stub
{{Stub-Class}}
The article is very short or contains only a collection of information that needs to be organized, filtered, expanded upon, or otherwise improved greatly. The article, whether short or not, contains material that is irrelevant, abstract, confusing, scattered, or ambiguous. Moderately useful to very few. Possibly useless to an entirely unfamiliar reader. Any editing is helpful, especially if it filters, expands, or organizes the information.
List
{{List-Class}}
Is not an article, but a "Standalone List." Is organized in a logical manner that is useful to the reader. Lists should be a series of live links to Wikipedia articles, appropriately named and organized.
Template
{{Template-Class}}
Is not an article, but a template, such as an infobox or a navbox. Infoboxes should generally be placed in the upper right corner of a page and are designed to provide easy access to important pieces of infomation about the subject. Navboxes normally go at the very bottom of the page and are designed to unite a group of related articles into an easily accessible format. Templates should be similarly formatted across the board and shouldn't contain too much, too little, or too specific information.
Disambig
{{Dab-Class}}
Is not an article, but a disambiguation page. Disambiguation pages are used when a single term (e.g. "The Boondocks") can be associated with more than one topic (e.g., The Boondocks comic strip and The Boondocks television series). Disambiguation page often do not need "(disambiguation)" appended to the title.
Category
{{Cat-Class}}
Is not an article, but a category.
