[edit] Review by SpecialWindler
You are citing your sources wrong. Rather than use external links to source usecite web
*Expand "Rugby league nines" section
Can you use any images. In the "National Side" section maybe this one
This article is on rugby league therefore I don't think the "Computer games" section should be thereUse this template at the bottom of the page Rugby League in Great BritainUnder the "Publications" section you have 3 external links, unlink them and put them in "External links" sectionIn the "Competitions" section, add a "The" before Super League (Europe)Get rid of the (Europe) from the Super League link.If you don't know how to do this it works like this Super League
I will continue reviewing this tomorrow

- Thanks for the feedback, very useful. We don't say "the Super League" in England, I think that this is probably a Northern versus Southern hemisphere difference. I can't use the image that you included because it would break fair use rules but you are right that the article needs more pictures. I'll search the commons. I'm currently working on how to reference correctly.GordyB 14:48, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
*I think your should state the Super League as being the current major comp in the LEAD. *The sport receives funding from Sport England as an 'English priority' sport... A one sentence paragraph, not good. Merge with relevent paragraph or expand. Probably should be moved to Article, rather than lead (this is my opinion)
In the history section, the main article is not History in Rugby league, use See also rather than main- The History section seems complete, but you have many short paragraphs, merge and make it as if the text flows.
- The traditional Origin series between Yorkshire and Lancashire was abandoned in 1989. You should expand this statement, as well as The Origin Series was revived in 2001 before being abandoned in 2003.
- Alot of the history section needs to be referenced
*Again in the "Governing bodies" is the short paragraphs.
- The "Competitions" section seems complete, but needs references in key places.
*For the section "Defunct competitions" use 3 equals rather than two to make it a sub heading of competions.
"Derbies" what is the importance of these, could you elaborate moreWhats the difference between "Junior rugby league" and "Student Rugby league"What is "Mini League"It seems that "Rugby league sevens and nines" you don't have much information on it. Consider making it a sub heading of the "History" section"I don't really think you need a "Cinema" section. It has nothing to do with league.
*This image is free, use it
That should get you started, I could go into more detail if you wish, please contact me if you do.

- You should check out [Rugby league in Australia, check out it's structure and images etc. But don't try to make a carbon copy of that article. RL in Aus. is a well done article (not trying to use good) but lacks references. SpecialWindler talk 10:18, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Still work in progress. I disagree that the cinema section is unimportant though. I think just about every English fan has seen "A sporting life". England is not like Australia and rugby league gets virtually no exposure in mainstream media here. That two films exist which are entirely set in the world of English rugby league is remarkable.GordyB 16:37, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
